How do I make an application?
Applications can be made directly by the individual in need, or submitted by groups and organisations (such as social workers, health authorities, or local ministers) on behalf of someone else.
Is my application confidential?
Yes. All applications are handled promptly and with the utmost sensitivity. Your personal details and circumstances are kept strictly confidential within the Trustee group.
Services & Support
What kind of help do you provide?
We primarily provide small one-off grants to relieve poverty or distress. This might include help with essential household costs, medical needs, or specific family hardships. Because our resources are limited, we also liaise with other local charities to ensure applicants get the best support possible.
Do you manage the local allotments?
Yes, the charity manages approximately 50 allotments originally designated for the ‘labouring poor’. These continue to be a vital community resource, though please note there is often a waiting list due to high demand. Please make contact with us if you want to discuss this in more detail or would like to be added to the waiting list.
